Cookies
Basically, a cookie is a biscuit, it is a tiny, sweet, baked snack or dessert. Typically, it is made of flour, sugar, egg, butter, fat, or oil of some kind. I am just defining the cookies to keep formalities but the truth is cookies don’t need any intro. They are loved globally. No matter where they originated, they are available in every bakery and every grocery store.
Cookies are my favourite too. They are soft, chewy and sweet. They are the best snacks to eat at lunchtime. The cookies are so simple to make, just combine the right ingredients and bake.
How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies
The greatest chewy, traditional chocolate chip cookies are hidden behind a few steps. First, use a combination of milk or semisweet and dark chocolate pieces instead of chips. For a more nuanced, toffee-like flavor, the second option is to let the dough rest for an entire night or longer. Finally, to ensure consistently-sized cookies, use an ice cream scooper. Everyone should know how to make the classic cookies. This is my go-to recipe for classic chocolate chips. The best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever is this one.

Don’t get confused in baking recipes, they are easy too with just some basic tips. I will share the tips that will help you to make foolproof cookies, just follow simple steps and prepare them.
Pro Tips for Making Cookies
- Don’t overcook the cookies, take them out of the oven when they are a bit moist from the center.
- Always measure your flour for making cookies.
- Make sure to add butter at room temperature when you mix it with sugar, otherwise, it will melt on the cookies and change their color.
- Always use refrigerated cookie dough to avoid flat or thin cookies.
- Use more brown sugar than simple sugar.
Preparation
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter at room temperature
- half cup white sugar
- 1.5 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoons of lukewarm water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
Step no 1
The first step includes gathering all the ingredients in perfectly measured quantities. The recipe for cookies is very delicate. Make sure to take all ingredients in the mentioned quantity. I love cookies that are mild sweet, if you like sweeter cookies, you can add a little more sugar but trust me mild sweet is good for your tongue and your body too.
Step no 2
The second step in making cookies is beating the eggs with butter and both brown and white sugar. Beat one egg at a time and then add vanilla extract. Mix the eggs, butter, and brown and white sugar with an electric mixer until becomes a fine smooth paste.
Step no 3
The third step is to add baking soda and salt. Add lukewarm water and baking soda to it, then add it to eggs, sugar, butter paste, and salt. Use an electric mixer again to mix them.
Step no 4
After this add the all-purpose flour and chocolate chips, then, mix them simply with a spoon.
Here you have made the fine paste for making the cookies. I recommend refrigerating the cookie paste for at least 12 hours before baking. Marinating the paste makes cookies more chewy, soft, and flavorful.
Step no 5
The fifth includes baking. After marination take them out of the refrigerator and place them on a baking pan in your desired shape and size.
The size of almost three tablespoons making one cookie is good. Place them in the baking pan, the pan should not be greased with any oil or butter. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees F. Bake for just 10 to 12 minutes.
Step no 6
Take them out of the oven and let them cool at room temperature. Eat them fresh or you can either place them in an airtight container.
